Proud of it's reputation for over five decades
The Pinder Versatool brand has been around for over 50 years and during that time Versatool products have earned a reputation within the engineering industry and other commercial sectors as being one of the strongest and reliable ranges of industrial furniture available.
Originally formed before the Second World War by Mr William Pinder in 1933, the Pinder Company has a proud history of being a family run business and the Versatool brand has passed through three generations of the Pinder family.
The first commissioned contract was to manufacture a lantern for Baston church near Bourne in South Lincolnshire. Later, the company was passed down to Mr Roy Pinder and Mr Leslie Pinder before Mr Michael Pinder eventually became the third generation owner. Under the Pinder family ownership the company gained a reputation for supplying accurate, quality sheet metal products with a good appearance.
The company has developed and marketed a wide range of products over its existence, ranging from donut cookers, early lathe cabinets and machine tool storage cabinets and equipment, establishing itself as a major supplier of all kinds of sheet metal guards and components for the growing British machine tool industry. Historically, Versatool cabinets where supplied with swing trays and these were a unique feature of the Versatool brand.
